Thermometers arrive one of two ways, and a house can use both: Home Assistant pushes their readings, or the app pulls them from the SwitchBot cloud. Either is turned on for a house in Settings, Houses, Edit, where its credentials live. Whichever brings a thermometer in, it appears here on its own - rename, reorder or hide it; a hidden one keeps collecting but stays out of the graphs. To stop one for good, take it out of the feed that brings it.

EyeOnWater publishes a meter a few hours late. The app signs in every quarter of an hour and asks its "Export Data" for the last two days, then walks the history back a month at a time until there is none left to find. The password is stored sealed and never shown again.

Leave the meter uuid empty: the account is asked for it. Fill it in only when the account carries several meters — the form will then list them for you to choose from.

Email me about this house's water. Two things get reported: 24 hours running without the meter ever going quiet, which usually means a leak since a house normally has some still moment in a day; and any rolling 24 hours drawing more than the limit set on the meter below, which is off until you set one.

Enphase counts every request against the plan's monthly allowance, so the feed works out its own pace from what is left of it rather than asking on a fixed clock. The panels and the house's draw arrive quarter-hourly for the last fortnight and as daily totals for the whole life of the system; the batteries' charge only goes back as far as this app has been collecting it.

Home Assistant can also push the gateway's own readings every minute over the house's sensor token — free, live, and with no call budget at all. The two sit together: the cloud feed owns the years of history, the push owns the last minute, and the graph prefers the live one wherever it has something to say. The Envoy block is in deploy/home-assistant.yaml.

Create an application at developer.enphase.com, then paste its client id, client secret and API key below. Authorise opens Enphase in a new tab: approve the application there and paste back the code it shows you. Codes expire within minutes.
